Day 01: Hanoi Arrival (D)

Upon arriving at Noi Bai airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel downtown. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the tree-lined boulevards, French Indochinese architecture and tranquil lakes of this unique one thousand-year-old city. You will enjoy a welcome dinner at a nice local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi City Sightseeing Tour (B, L, D)

After breakfast and Vietnamese coffee, start one day trip in Hanoi city, the first stop in our sightseeing is Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum where the nation’s hero is laid out and people can express their gratitude towards him. Nearby, that is the Presidential Palace where Uncle Ho used to welcome international friends and the place he prefered living is the stilt house with a fishpond, gardens surrounding. Close by, the next stop is the One Pillar Pagoda. A tour around the beautiful WestLake takes us to the venerable Temple of Literature.

After having lunch at a restaurant, continue a visit to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is a must for all visitors. Here, you will see all types of houses modeled after from 54 ethnic groups

Finally, we discover Hanoi Old Quarter by cyclo. We pass the winding streets, souvenir shops on the 3-wheel transport. Then, enjoy Water puppet show at the theater.

Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Today we head out on the 3.5hour scenic drive to Halong Bay which was recognized by UNESCO in 1994 to be one of 7 heritages in the world. Halong is located in the Gulf of Tonkin, has around 1,600 islands and islets forming the beautiful scene of blue sky, turquoise water and stone islets. After embarking on board, you are welcomed with a cup  of coffee then your lunch will be served soon with delicious seafood. You will enjoy your lunch while cruising in the bay. In the afternoon, visit Amazing cave (the name is based on its amazing beauty). Then visit Tuan Chau Island, Dinh Huong Island, Hen Cock Island, Dog Island, Sail Island and swim at Titop beach. In the late of afternoon, you can do kayak and explore the bay by yourself or just lie on the sundeck to watch the red sunset. You can also take part in a cooking class teaching about traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Have dinner and entertain on boat. Overnight on board and listen to the tender sounds of wave.

Day 04: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L, D)

Wake up the next morning at sunrise, feel the early morning salt water scent; bask in the early sun rising from behind the mountains. This morning, we will transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat. A fresh seafood lunch is served on board. Then you will return to the port and transfer back to Hanoi in the afternoon for a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, our local guide will pick up and transfer to Hoian for relaxing and overnight.

Day 05: Hoi An Exploring (B, L, D)

Hoi An is ranked as one of the top 10 most beloved spots in Asia, but do not mistake it to be a touristic city. Hoi An generally is a gentle and ancient city with peaceful streets, just have some motorbikes and bicycles. People in here have very sweet local voice, sincere and hospitable.

In the morning, you will join a walking tour around the ancient town of Hoi An, visit Japanese Covered Bridge, old houses and many souvenir shops. Then visit Tra Que Village to visit vegetable gardens and houses in the countryside. Before lunch, you will have foot massage which makes you feel comfortable after walking for a long time. Free in the afternoon, there is a beautiful beach near the center of Hoi An (7km) so you can relax and have sunbath here.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 06: Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon (B, L, D)

Take a morning flight to Saigon and transfer to hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, we will have a half day to explore Ho Chi Minh City or known as Saigon in the past. Visit Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral where you will study more about Vietnamese history, culture and belief. Then visit Cho Lon (big market), China town. In the evening, enjoy dinner while cruising on Saigon River. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 07: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon (B, L, D)

After having breakfast, the tour guide will take you to see the Cu Chi tunnels which were said to be “Tunnel rats”. This was a place where Vietnamese soldiers used to communicate and supply food, weapons in war time. You can also try the food here: cassava and have tea. At the end of the day, you will come back HCM city and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 08: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon (B, L, D)

On this day, we head to Mekong Delta which is compared as water world where people are born on water, live in on water and travel on water. This place is known as “rice bowl” of Vietnam which will give you a chance to discover the agriculture of the second biggest exporting rice in the world, go to the floating market and observe (or you can really do) the way people go shopping on the river. Visit an orchard where you can feel the cool air under the shadow of trees and pick up any fruits you want. Pass over some village making coconut candy, crispy rice cake and ceramics. Before coming back Saigon, visit a rural village by bicycle. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 09: Saigon – Siem Reap (B, L, D)

Say farewell to Saigon before boarding your morning flight to Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor Wat, one of the greatest cultural monuments in the world. Siem Reap is a small town filled with resorts and hotels, but do not mistake it with a touristic bustling town like Phuket. Its peaceful environment covers all houses which are not allowed to be taller than Angkor towers. You won't have to wait long as you start your Angkor Wat sightseeing right away after landing. Built to honor the Hindu god Vishnu, Angkor Wat took nearly 40 years to complete. There are around 2000 beautiful Aspara dancers carved on the stone walls of Angkor Wat . It is much more than just sightseeing, it's feeling the wonder of culture, of time, and of the people who created it. Another highlight of the day is the view of the sunset on Angkor from Phnom Bakheng hill, an unforgettable sight. You will have a buffet dinner at a local restaurant with an Apsara Show... the soul of Khmer people. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 10: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom & Bayon Temples (B, L, D)

You have an early wake-up call as your tour guide will take you to Angkor Wat for an amazing view of the sunrise on the tower temples. Remember to prepare your camera for some of the greatest shots ever in your life. Then you will head back to the hotel for breakfast. Today is another day for experiencing great heritages in Siem reap, which has not only Angkor Wat but a lot more. Visit Bayon temple including 37 standing towers, each of them has 4 faces carved oriented toward the cardinal points), Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Phemean Akas, Terrace of Leper King. Then head back to Siem Reap Town and visit Takeo, Ta Prom Temple in the afternoon. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 11: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Luang Prabang (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we will depart for Tonle Sap.  It’s 30 minutes south of Siem Reap, is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world, cyclically swelling from 2500 square km to more than 12,000 square km in the wet season.  Floating fishing villages dot the semi-submerged forest that lines the flood plane rim of the lake, offering an excellent place to see lakeside rural Cambodia, and a unique ecosystem rich with birds wildlife.  Take a boat trip on the lake to see the floating homes and villages who earn their livelihoods from the abundance of freshwater fish directly under their homes. Afternoon free at leisure until transfer for flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 12: Luang Prabang (B, L, D)

After having breakfast at hotel, visit Royal Palace Museum then visit other temples such as Wat Mai, Wat Visoun. In the afternoon, climb Phousi Mountain to reach the top, you can see the overview of Mekong River flowing through Luang Prabang city and the forested mountains. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 13: Luang Prabang – Mekong Cruises, Pak Ou Caves & Kuang Si Waterfall (B, L, D)

After breakfast, It is 25 km upstream from Luang Prabang to Pak Ou caves, we take a boat for a 90-minute cruise up the Mekong river. On the way, we catch a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside like villagers collecting cicadas, buffalo cooling off in the mud and elephants roaming the riverbank. Then we start a short trek from the Ban Muangkeo village before reaching Pak Ou caves which is primarily a religious site, is very much visited today by tourists. On arrival, we have two caves to visit, the lower cave called Tham Ting and the upper cave Tham Theung. Caves in the cliffs on the Mekong filled with 1000’s of Buddha images. We then return to Luang Prabang by boat, stopping at Ban Nongxai, an artisans village. We arrive back in Luang Prabang in time for lunch. In the afternoon we drive out to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall, one of the highlights of Luang Prabang, great swimming holes for a refreshing swim. You can hike up to the top of the waterfalls to catch the stunning scenery. 

Nearby the falls, we can pass by the Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre into the park where there are the cages enclose the rare Asian black bears rescued from poachers. Then we return Luang Prabang by early evening. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 14: Luang Prabang Departure (B)

Today you'll be transferred to the airport at the requested time for your flight home, or onward. See you back here soon!
