Itinerary

Day 1

Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Known for its centuries old architecture and delectable cuisine, Hanoi is not only rich in history and culture, but also a buzzing city and a connecting hub to other parts of the country and region. Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai), you will be transferred to your hotel. Relax to recover from your flight and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy a nice dinner in a local restaurant. You will then spend the first night in Hanoi.

Day 2

Hanoi - A Tour of the Capital of Culture

After breakfast in the hotel, you will go on a city tour today. Starting with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum where lies the national hero, President Ho Chi Minh. Next stop is the one thousand year old One Pillar Pagoda, one of the most iconic temples in Vietnam, known for its unique lotus blossom shape sitting on top of a wooden pillar erected from a lotus pond. Continue on to West Lake, the largest lake in Hanoi with beautiful scenery. Then you will explore the Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Vietnamese Ethnology Museum before returning to the Old Quarter to explore. At the end of the day, enjoy a unique water puppet show, a Hanoi specialty that can’t be found elsewhere. Spend the night in Hanoi.

Day 3

Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Bay of 1,600 islands

Today you go to Ha Long Bay and will embark on an overnight cruise trip to immerse in the breathtaking scenery of this world’s wonder. Upon boarding the cruise, enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. In the afternoon, you can do a cave excursion, go for a swim, or explore the bay by kayak. Return to the cruise boat to have an amazing sunset dinner on board. Afterwards, you can relax on the sundeck, sip a cocktail at the bar, or watch a movie. Spend the night on board the cruise.

Day 4

Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Hue

Start the day with a sunrise Tai Chi session followed by a hearty breakfast. Today you will visit the Sung Sot Cave (aka Surprise Cave), one of the finest and widest caves in Ha Long Bay. Back on board from the morning excursion, you can join a Vietnamese cooking class before enjoying a lunch buffet. In the meantime, the boat will head back to the harbor where you will disembark and be transferred to Hanoi airport to fly to Hue. Upon your arrival at Hue, our driver will take you to your hotel in the city center.

Day 5

The Imperial City Hue

Today you will explore the imperial city of Hue. With your guide, you will first visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc. Then you will enjoy a traditional Kung Fu performance and learn how to make “non la” - the Vietnamese traditional conical hats. Next, visit the Royal Fine Arts Museum and the Thien Mu pagoda. Finally, cruise along the Huong River (aka Perfume River) and enjoy the view of Hue. Back to your hotel at the end of the tour and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6

Hue - Hoi An - Over the Cloud Pass

Leave Hue early in the morning and drive across Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach to Hoi An. Once there, you will be taken to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a tour of Hoi An with your local guide. You will visit the Hoi An Museum, old trading houses, Chinese boardrooms, various craft shops and the Japanese Covered Bridge. You will spend the night in Hoi An.

Day 7

Hoi An - Siem Reap

After breakfast, we will take you to the airport to take a flight to Siem Reap. At Siem Reap airport, you will be picked up and brought to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 8

Siem Reap - City Tour

Today you will explore Siem Reap. In the morning, you will visit Preah Ang Check and Preah Ang Chom - the two Buddhist shrines that represent two Angkorian princesses and where locals come to pray for good luck. Then on to the Angkor National Museum, where you will learn a lot about Khmer art, culture and architecture. In the evening you will visit the local markets by tuk tuk. Spend the night in Siem Reap.

Day 9

Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park

Start early today, at 7AM, to explore the famous Angkor Archaeology Park. You will first visit the picturesque Ta Prohm, which has almost disappeared and overgrown by the jungle. The magnificent tree roots crawling over and swallowing the huge stone blocks of the temple will surely be a sight to be remembered. But be prepared for even more mesmerizing sights at your next stop - Angkor Wat - the majestic world's largest religion monument and the jewel of all Angkor temples. In the afternoon, you will explore Angkor Thom, Elephant Terraces, Leprosy King's Terrace and Preah Khan Temple. After this eventful day, return to Siem Reap to spend the night.

Day 10

Siem Reap - Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, we will take you to the airport and you will take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Once you arrive, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11

Sightseeing in Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning, your local guide will take you on a tour of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon. You will visit the Presidential Palace, the War Museum, and the Notre Dame Cathedral. You will also visit China Town, the huge Binh Tay Market and the beautiful Thien Hau Pagoda. After the tour, your guide will take you back to your hotel to relax or you can continue exploring the city on your own at your leisure.

Day 12

Ho Chi Minh - The Coastal Village Mui Ne

Today you will make a trip to the coastal town of Mui Ne. Once you arrive, you will check in to your resort hotel. Relax and enjoy your stay in Mui Ne.

Day 13

Mui Ne Beach

Enjoy your first full day in Mui Ne. Take in the smell of the sea, the blue of the water, the sound of the waves, and the touch of the ocean breeze. Spend the night in your Mui Ne resort.

Day 14

Mui Ne Beach

Another day in Mui Ne paradise. You can explore the small fishing villages, relax on the beach or try other activities such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, and other water sports. You will spend the night in Mui Ne.

 

Day 15

Mui Ne Escape

Mui Ne offers not only beach but also one of the only deserts in South East Asia. Spend your last day here at your leisure but don't miss the chance to sand sled or take a Jeep tour at Mui Ne famous and unique sand dunes. Wear sunscreen and a hat, and bring lots of water, then you're ready for some sandy adventure. Back to your beach resort to spend the night.

Day 16

Mui Ne - Ho Chi Minh City - Departure

Today you will leave Mui Ne and head back to Ho Chi Minh City. We will take you to Ho Chi Minh City airport in time for your flight home.
