Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, the most populous city in Vietnam. Being the largest commerce center of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City attracts people from all over the country and the world to settle here, which turns the city into a true cultural melting pot. The city breathes life and energy into all who live here, and visitors cannot help but be drawn into its whirl of excitement. Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal. In the evening, you will enjoy your welcome dinner on board a Saigon River cruise. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2

Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta

Today you will take a day trip to visit the Mekong Delta. After a three hours drive from Ho Chi Minh City, board a motorboat to get to the floating market. You will get to sample coconut sweets, crispy rice cakes, and see unique pottery products made by the locals. After lunch, you will ride on a small rowboat through the narrow canals to visit an orchard, where many fresh local fruits are available for you to taste. Afterwards, you can bike through a village to visit some rural shops, or alternatively, just relax in a hammock. After the tour, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City to rest and spend the night there.

Day 3

Ho Chi Minh City- Danang - Hoi An

After breakfast, we will drive you to the airport for your flight to Danang. Once you arrive at Danang, our local driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your beach resort in Hoi An.

Day 4

Biking & Cooking Tour in Tra Que Village

Today you will be introduced to the local cuisine through a hands-on food journey. First, our local guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a bike ride to the Hoi An market, where you will learn about local ingredients and buy what’s needed for the cooking class. Continue on to Tra Que, a little charming village on the outskirts of Hoi An, where vegetables and herbs are grown organically to supply to local restaurants and markets. Once you arrive, you can walk through the gardens, see a variety of local vegetables, smell the fresh herb aroma, and watch the farmers at work. Then come to the village kitchen, where you will learn from the village chefs how to prepare a whole menu of local Vietnamese dishes. Enjoy the meal you made and the countryside atmosphere before heading back to Hoi An in the afternoon. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You spend the night in Hoi An.

Day 5

Hoi An - Danang - Hanoi

Today we will take you to Danang airport for your flight to Hanoi. Known for its centuries old architecture and delectable cuisine, Hanoi is not only rich in history and culture, but also a buzzing city and a connecting hub to other parts of the country and region. Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai), you will be transferred to your hotel before going on a half day city tour. Among other attractions, you will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda - the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi which was built in the 6th century, Temple of Literature - a Confucius temple built in 1070 and considered the first university of Vietnam. Enjoy the traditional cyclo ride around the lively streets of the Old Quarter before attending a unique performance at the water puppet folk theatre. End the night with a dinner at Cau Go restaurant which overlooks the Hoan Kiem Lake. You spend the night in Hanoi.

Day 6

Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

Today you will go to Ha Long and embark on a two-day cruise trip in the amazing Ha Long Bay. Upon boarding, enjoy a fresh seafood lunch and relax a bit before going on an excursion to visit limestone caves and explore the bay by kayak. Back to the cruise, you can join a cooking class before enjoying a sunset dinner. Spend the night on board the cruise.

Day 7

Ha Long Bay - Hanoi

Don't miss the chance to watch the sunrise over the limestone cliffs in Ha Long Bay today. Then join us for a Tai Chi session before having a hearty breakfast on board. In the morning, you can enjoy swimming in the emerald water, kayaking around the bay, or simply relaxing on the sundeck. After a fulfilling buffet lunch, the cruise will return to the harbor, from where you will be picked up by car and return to Hanoi. You will spend the night in Hanoi.

Day 8

Hanoi - Mai Chau Green Valley

Today we will travel from Hanoi via Hoa Binh province to the Mai Chau Valley. After you arrive in the valley,  you will explore the area by bike through villages and lush paddy fields. Spend the afternoon getting to know the locals and their culture before enjoying a dinner with local delicacies and a live performance of the Muong and Thai ethnic minorities. You will spend the night in Mai Chau.

Day 9

Mai Chau - Hanoi - Bangkok

Enjoy your breakfast with wonderful views of the Mai Chau countryside. Spend the morning at your leisure. In the early afternoon, we will take you in a private car to the Hanoi airport for your flight to Bangkok. Upon your arrival in Bangkok, our local driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Check-in and relax for the rest of the day. You are staying overnight in Bangkok.

Day 10

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - Chiang Mai

This morning, you go on a half day tour to explore the Damnoen Saduak floating market. You will also visit a coconut farm on this tour and have the opportunity to taste exotic local fruits. After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel where you can spend free time shopping before heading to Bangkok airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. You will spend the night in Chiang Mai.

Day 11

Chiang Mai Elephant Camp

Today you will spend the whole day at an elephant camp and have a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with these majestic but so gentle mammals. After meeting with elephants, feeding them, and bathing them, enjoy a Thai lunch at the camp. In the afternoon you will spend more time with the elephants before returning to Chiang Mai to spend the night.

Day 12

Chiang Mai - Koh Samui

Spend the morning at your leisure before going to Chiang Mai airport for your flight to Koh Samui. Once there, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure and stay overnight on the island Koh Samui.

Koh Samui Leisure

After breakfast at the hotel, you can relax all day on Koh Samui today. Enjoy the beach, the sea and the sun or explore the area. You will spend the night on Koh Samui.

Koh Samui Departure

Enjoy your free time before going to the Koh Samui airport to start your journey home.
