Day 01: Upon arrival Bangkok (D)

Upon arrival, meet & greet at the airport then transfer to the hotel. After check in, free & relax on own.

Day 02: City Temple – Royal Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha(B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast before visiting key attractions in Bangkok.

The first destination is Wat Traimit which is famous for the world's largest solid gold Buddha image with the impressive dimensions (3m-tall, 5.5 tons) so this temple in the Chinatown area is known as “The Temple of the Golden Buddha”

then visit Wat Pho, the temple of the Reclining Buddha. It's one of the largest and oldest temple complexes in Bangkok which is famous for the huge  reclining Buddha (46 meters long and 15 meters high) and as the birthplace of Thai massage.

From Wat Pho, take a ferry across the river to reach Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn is located on the West bank of the Chao Phraya river, Bangkok. the best views of Wat Arun come at sunset. Here you can see the outstanding feature is a massive prang (Khmer-style pagoda) with its height of over 80 meters.

After lunch, take a visit to the Grand Palace complex constructed in in 1782 offers spectacular buildings and sacred sites. Here, you can visit Royal residences, the throne halls and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Royal Funeral Hall, the Golden Chedi and the Royal Pantheon.

Return to hotel for leisure time.

Overnight in Bangkok

Day 03: Bangkok – Chiang Mai – Wat Pharathat Doi Suthep (B, L, D)

After breakfast, then transfer to the airport for the flight. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai airport, meet and greet your guide then transfer to your hotel. After a short rest in the hotel, ready for a scenic drive to reach the slopes of Doi Suthep Peak where we visit Meo hilltribe village and experience the culture of these tribe people and their colorful costumes and discover breathtaking scenery, distinct natural beauty of the mountains.

After that, transfer to visit Doi Suthep Temple which houses a holy relic of the Lord Buddha and give you a panoramic view of Chiangmai and the Mae Ping River valley.

Then back to hotel and free at leisure.

Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 04: Full day Elephant Safari tour (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel, embark to the Elephants Camp to see the elephants at work in a jungle area, see how the elephants are trained for working with human and the elephant shows. Then, you will be excited to take an elephant ride along the trails, and followed by Ox-Cart ride back to the camp. Lunch at the elephant camp. Afternoon, enjoy with local handicraft bamboo rafting along Mae Taeng river. Return to Chiang Mai and make a stop at the Orchid Nursery. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 05: Chiang Mai – Luang Prabang (B, L, D)

After breakfast, free at leisure till time transfer to the airport for flight departure.

Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and driver and transferred to your hotel. The rest of day is at your leisure.

Day 06: Half day city tour & Kuang Si Waterfall (B, L, D)

Wake up early morning and take part in the Buddhist rituals and give offerings of alms (sticky rice) to monks.

After breakfast, take a short guided-tour to visit the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong temple known as “the Golden City temple”, holds great cultural, historic and architectural importance. This architecture is unique with the roofs sweeping low to the ground.

We visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts and Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures.

You may also wish to drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can splash around in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest paths.  There’s also an opportunity to visit the bear sanctuary nearby, run by Free The Bears Fund Inc.

The next destination is Mount Phousi. Before reaching the top of the mountain to watch overall Luang Prabang, roofs of temples and Mekong River flowing through the city, you have to conquer hundreds of steps to the mountains. However, it is not too hard because the way up was well built and you can enjoy the fresh air as well as beautiful scene. In the top of Mount Phousi is Wat Chomsi where you can pray and make offerings in front of Budda. If there is enough time, let’s watch the sunset here and enjoy peaceful moments in your life. The final activity is visiting a night market in Luang Prabang and you can buy some handmade stuff from local and hill tribe people.

Day 07: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave (B, L, D)

After breakfast, embark on the boat along Mekong River to reach Pak Ou Cave. You can see the simple life, green fields and trees in two banks of rivers. Pak Ou Cave is actually 2 sacred linked caves which have a lot of Buddha monuments inside. En route, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where the local specialty of rice wine is produced. Once back in Luang Prabang city we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village well known for its hand weaving. We also have time to visit Ban Xangkhong, Ban Xienglek, small villages well known for silk weavings and for Saa (jute) Papermaking.

Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 08: Luang Prabang – Hanoi (B, L, D)

Free at your leisure till flight to Hanoi – the graceful capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can easily feel the century-old soul of Hanoi while roaming around the city despite the rapid modernization at present. It is the old lemon-hued architectures since the French colonization and the ancient temples as well as pagodas since the feudal era. It is the swarm of buzzing motorbikes overall the city especially during rush hours. It is the delicate scents and tastes of delicious street food available in almost all the corners around Hanoi. Enjoy dinner at a nice local restaurant in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 09: Hanoi Sights/Capital of Culture (B, L, D)

After breakfast we explore the city of Hanoi. The first destination is Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum; visit the beloved president’s corpse in solemn atmosphere. Then visit his stilt house with a pretty tender garden and a carp pond. Just five minute walk from Uncle Ho’s stilt house is One Pillar Pagoda where you will hear a real but mysterious story about a king who desired to have a son then one night, he dreamt a son walking out from a lotus blossom. The king decided to build a pagoda which had the shape of lotus blossom and no longer after that his queen was pregnant and gave birth to a son. We also visit Temple of literature – the first university in Vietnam built in honor of Confucius in 1070 by the king Ly Thanh Tong and dedicated to top scholars

In the afternoon, visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology – the place helps you understand more about of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups with diversified culture as well as costumes and life styles. Then take a walk around the old quarter before watching a water puppet show near Hoan Kiem Lake. Having dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

After breakfast at your lovely hotel, you will be picked by our guide & driver at hotel then driven to Ha Long Bay – 180km from the East of Hanoi. On the way, you will to stop by several green paddies to see and photograph the Vietnamese farmers working on their fields.

At noon, we reach to Halong Bay recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 1994. It is well-known for is known for thousands of towering limestone rising from emerald waters with all sizes and shapes dotted an area of over 1,500 km. It was also selected as a natural wonder of the world by the New 7 Wonders poll in 2012.

On arrival at noon, you are welcomed on the traditional boat and have a welcome drink. Start the boat trip to visit Halong Bay with the outstanding natural beauty of many Islands such as Con Cho Island, Dinh Huong Island, Canh Buom Island, Ga Choi Island and have fresh seafood lunch served on board. You will dine on board while watching the sun go down. This evening is for you to enjoy the local entertainment or just relax. Watch a classic Vietnamese film or just lay out on the sundeck and enjoying the fresh air on the calm water. Overnight on junk

Day 11: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Saigon (B, L, D)

Let’s wake up early morning to enjoy the fresh air, mountains in slight fog or gradually appear in sunrise. Enjoy some tea, coffee or some cakes before you can go swimming or kayaking in the bay to glide through waters at your own pace. Or just lie on the sundeck for sunbath. After lunch, you will return to the port and transfer back to Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) to take a flight to Saigon. Your tour guide in Saigon will greet and transfer you to hotel.

Day 12: Saigon – Tay Ninh & Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon (B, L, D)

Take this full-day tour to see 2 of North Saigon’s most iconic structures: the Great Holy See Temple at Tay Ninh and the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels of the Viet Cong.

The Great Holy See Temple was built in 1926 as the first temple and Holy See of the Cao Dai faith. Look out for the all-seeing holy eye, the official symbol of Cao Dai, located above the temple entrance.

After lunch, get in your car and continue the trip to Cu Chi Tunnels. This is a historical place considered as an important concealment of Viet Cong in War time. Let’s discover a network of over 120 miles (200 kilometers) of tunnels in total length. Under the tunnels, you can crawl through some parts of this area, and you'll feel the heat, darkness, stuffy. But you’ll get memorable experiences

Then you can taste cassava - main food of Cu Chi in war time. Return Saigon in the late afternoon and overnight here.

Day 13: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart Saigon for Cai Be and take a boat to the floating market. Here, you will see the bustling atmosphere where people exchange goods on boats floating in big river. Sailing along Mekong River, through canals and see the enormous life and green fields in two river banks. Visit an orchard where you can taste some fruits right at the garden. Visit traditional villages making coconut, crispy rice cake and ceramics. In the afternoon, bike through the village, enjoy hot tea and rest on hammock before coming back Saigon.

Day 14: Saigon Departure (B)

Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your return flight home with sweet memories.
