Day 01: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Upon arriving at Noi Bai airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel downtown. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the tree-lined boulevards, French Indochinese architecture and tranquil lakes of this unique one thousand year old city. You will enjoy a welcome dinner at a nice local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi City Tour (B, L, D)
After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Hanoi, also known as the “Paris of the East.” Visit the city’s most important historical attractions such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature well known as Vietnam’s first university, One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Art Museum and the beautiful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred temple. A traditional cyclo tour through the narrow, ancient streets of the exotic Old Quarter is a great way to soak up the sights and sounds. Afterward, enjoy Water Puppet Show – the unique Traditional Art in the North of Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
After breakfast, take a 4-hour scenic drive to Halong Bay as a New Wonder of the world and World Heritage site. On arrival, complimentary before boarding our Junk for the overnight boat trip. Have lunch on the boat as soon as the boat starts cruising. In the meantime, take advantage of catching the magnificent seascape with thousands of islets and islands, we will pass famous islands such as Cock Fighting islands, small Dog island, Sail island, Dinh Huong island. After lunch, take a visit to Amazing cave and a swim at Titop beach and do kayak to discover your own way is optional. Really recommend it.
Enjoy dinner on board while watching the sunset. Overnight on Ha Long Bay aboard.
Day 04: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L, D)
Wake up the next morning at sunrise, feel the early morning salt water scent; bask in the early sun rising from behind the mountains. This morning we will continue to visit the beautiful grotto and other area of Halong Bay. You can kayak in the gorgeous bay. A fresh seafood lunch is served on board. Then you will return to the port and transfer back to Hanoi airport in the afternoon for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, our local guide in Da Nang will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel downtown in Hoi An.
Day 05: Hoi An Old Town (B, L, D)
Spend your half day visiting the town of Hoi An today. Together with your local guide in Hoi An, walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls and Trading Houses, pagodas and stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, you may find out the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoi An a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. Afternoon and evening free for enjoying the town which lot of tailors, riverside café, restaurants in old houses. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 06: Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon (B, L, D)
Drive to Da Nang for your short flight to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon; the cosmopolitan heart of Vietnam. Soak up the exotic atmosphere of this frenetic city with a guided tour of the main highlights, including Independence Palace and the War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, and the bustling Chinatown. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 07: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon (B, L, D)
After breakfast, visit the tunnel of Cu Chi – an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war. You will return to Saigon in the afternoon. The rest of time is free for us to explore Saigon at our own pace. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 08: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon (B, L, D)
A full day excursion is to visit the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a river cruise passing through floating market with colorful boats filled with fruits, rice, food, a floating market with fish-pond inside houses. Stop at Thoi Son islands and have lunch with honey wine in an orchard looking over the river, followed by a folk show by locals. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda and a coconut mill before back Saigon. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 09: Saigon – Siem Reap (B, L, D)
After breakfast fly to Siem Reap, home to Angkor Wat, one of the greatest religious monuments in the world. Take a tour to visit Angkor Wat and view the sunset from Phnom Bakheng hill, an unforgettable sight. Built to honor the Hindu god Vishnu, Angkor Wat took nearly 40 years to complete. Inside the outer walls, the structure rises over three levels to a central core topped by five pineapple-shaped towers. Virtually every surface in the maze of chambers and courtyards is richly decorated with low-relief scenes of legends, wars and everyday life, enhanced by carvings of nearly 2,000 celestial dancers. Enjoy a buffer dinner with Apasara Show dance. Overnight in Siem Riep.
Day 10: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom & Bayon Temples (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the famous old palace, Angkor Thom means "the great city" in Khmer was founded by Angkor's greatest king, Jayavarman VII (reigned 1181-1219). At the center of this ancient city is Bayon Temple, a Buddhist temple. You can begin to make out the 54 towers carved with 4 huge faces of Lokesvara and then visit Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Phemean Akas, Terrace of Leper King. Back to Siem Reap Town.
Next, visit Takeo, one of the finest temples at Angkor and Ta Prom Temple is known for the giant Root of Banyan Tree surrounded then afterwards visit Angor Wat as a royal temple dedicated to a Hindu deity. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five lotus like towers rising 65 meters from the ground level. Top of everyone's Cambodia itinerary). Overnight in Siem Riep.
Day 11: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, Let's do some sightseeing in Siem Riep.
Firstly, take a visit to the monument located in East of Angkor Wat, Prasat Kravan temple. This brickwork was dedicated to the Indian god Vishnu. And the most outstanding feature is the detailed brick carvings. Or visit Srah Srang - the water reservoir means "royal bathing pool".
Visit the Banteay Srey, The citadel of women. This temple contains the finest, most intricate carvings to be found in Angkor.
After lunch at a restaurant; we go to see the floating village of Chong Khneas and take a boat trip that is really enjoyable on the Tonle Sap Lake where you get a new perspective of the floating village. Don't miss a chance to capture nice photos about real village life among very friendly locals
