Itinerary

Day 1

Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, our driver will take you to the hotel to check in to your romantically decorated honeymoon room. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure and spend the night in Hanoi. 

Day 2

Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Wedding Preparation

Today you and your guests will go to Ha Long and embark on a three-day cruise trip where you will have your once in a life time wedding with the amazing Ha Long Bay as your backdrop. We will get everything ready for your big day tomorrow so you can enjoy and relax to the fullest. Upon boarding your cruise, enjoy a fresh seafood lunch as the boat leaves the harbor. After lunch, you will transfer to a small wooden boat to visit the Vung Vieng village. After the visit, you can enjoy swimming or kayaking on the bay.  In the evening, enjoy the happy hour at the bar and a cooking show by the cruise chefs before having dinner on board. You and your guests will spend the night on the cruise.

Day 3

Your Wedding Ceremony in Ha Long Bay

Today is your special day. In the morning, refresh with a round of Tai Chi during the sunrise. After breakfast, you can join a shore excursion to Cat Ba island, where you will visit the small village of Viet Hai, which is in the midst of jungles and was totally isolated from the outside world up to only a few years ago. After this unique excursion, back to your cruise boat and have lunch on board. After lunch, relax and get ready for your wedding ceremony which will begin in late afternoon. Celebrate with your family and guests at the bar on board during our happy hour. Then, go on shore and enjoy a unforgettable candle lit reception dinner in a cave, which will guarantee leave a very lasting memory for you and your guests. Finally, return to the cruise for the cake cutting and wedding dances. Spend the night on board.

Day 4

Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

After all the partying last night, you probably want to sleep in today. But if you are up early, you are welcome to join us for a round of Tai Chi or simply watch your first sunrise as Mr. and Mrs. Then enjoy your breakfast in the restaurant before joining an excursion to visit the Surprise Cave. When you are back on board, get ready to check out and then enjoy the brunch buffet as the boat sails back to the harbor. Once there, you will be picked up and brought back to Hanoi. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5

Hanoi – Bangkok

Today we will take you to Hanoi airport for your flight to Bangkok. Upon your arrival in Bangkok, our local driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Relax for a few hours before we pick you up again for a scenic dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River. Enjoy an authentic Thai dinner while gazing at Bangkok's major attractions from the water. After the cruise ride, we will drive you back to your hotel where you will spend the night in Bangkok.

Day 6

Bangkok City & Temple Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and will be able to admire Bangkok's attractions up close today. First, you visit Wat Pho, a Buddhist temple known for its giant reclining Buddha statue and considered the first public university of Thailand. Then continue on to Chinatown and visit a market there. The next stop is Wat Traimit Temple, also known as the Temple of Golden Buddha because of its 5.5 ton solid gold Buddha statue. After lunch, enjoy a 2 hour traditional Thai massage before returning to your hotel. For the evening, we recommend visiting one of the city's numerous sky bars. You will spend the night in your hotel in Bangkok.

Day 7

Bangkok - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - Ayutthaya

This morning, we take you to visit the famous floating market Damnoen Saduak. Once at the pier, transfer to a small boat to ride along the canal and explore the market and the surrounding area. Back on land, enjoy a local lunch before continuing to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand. On the way there, we will make a stop at the ancient temple of Khun Inthapramun to admire the country's largest and longest reclining Buddha statue. When you arrive in Ayutthaya, check in to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, your guide will take you to visit the Khmer style Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a Royal temple that was used by the King and other members of the Royal family, and a great sight to experience during sunset. You will have dinner today in a restaurant by the river then spend the night in Ayutthaya.

Day 8

Ayutthaya – Sukhothai

Today you will take a scenic ride further north to the historic town of Sukhothai, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stop for lunch along the way, you arrive at Sukhothai in the afternoon. Explore the ancient temples and ruins of the Si Satchanalai Historical Park by bike. Then go to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You will spend the night in Sukhothai.

Day 9

Sukhothai – Chiang Rai

Today you will be headed to Chiang Rai, which is 7 hours away. At about half way, we will stop in Lampang, a calm authentic northern town of Thailand, for a lunch break and to visit Baan Sao Nak, a huge Lanna-style house built in 1895 and supported by 116 square teak pillars, which now serves as a local museum. After the visit, we will get back on the road toward Chiang Rai. About 30 minutes out of Chiang Rai, we will stop to visit Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple, a privately owned art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple. Then go straight to your hotel in Chiang Rai to check in and relax. In the evening, enjoy a private poolside romantic dinner and spend the night in Chiang Rai.

Day 10

Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai by River Cruise

Today you will head south to Chiang Mai on a river cruise. The cruise takes you along the Mae Kok River, passing rice fields, orchards and fishing villages. Stop at the Ruammit Karen long neck hill tribe village. After exploring the village, you will be driven to Chiang Mai by private shuttle. On the way, you will have lunch at a local restaurant in Maekrajan hot spring. Then visit the Doi Suthep Temple and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view over Chiang Mai. Afterwards, you will be taken to your hotel to relax. In the evening, enjoy a special Lanna Khantoke dinner with northern specialties accompanied by a traditional hill tribe dance show. You will then spend the night in Chiang Mai.

Day 11

Chiang Mai - Elephant Camp

Today you will visit an elephant camp and have a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with these majestic but so gentle mammals. Included in today's tour is a small guided hike to meet elephants in their living environment, feeding them, and a short visit to a temple with them. You will also go swimming with the elephants and follow them to visit a waterfall, where you will have a picnic lunch. Afterwards, you will be brought back to your hotel and free for the rest of the day. You will spend the night in Chiang Mai.

Day 12

Chiang Mai - Cooking class on a Thai farm

After breakfast, you will visit a Thai farm today. On the way, stop at a local market to learn about Thai ingredients. After you arrive at the farm, you will visit the plantations before preparing your own Thai dishes under the guidance of the local chefs. Enjoy your self made dishes for lunch, then relax or continue to explore the farm. In the afternoon, you will have the chance to learn and prepare more Thai dishes to take with you back to the hotel. At the end of the cooking class, return to your hotel and spend the night in Chiang Mai.

Day 13

Chiang Mai - Hat Yai - Satun - Koh Lipe

Today you say goodbye to Chiang Mai and the northern region to head all the way south to the island of Koh Lipe. Getting there is an adventure on its own. First, you will fly from Chiang Mai to Hat Yai airport, then take a 2 hour drive to Pak Bara Pier in Satun province, where you will board a speedboat for another 1.5 hours ride to get to Koh Lipe island. Once there, you will be driven to your hotel and can relax. In the evening you will enjoy a romantic dinner on the beach or by the pool with champagne and candles. You will spend the night on Koh Lipe.

Day 14

Koh Lipe - Beach Time

Have a relaxing day in Koh Lipe. Enjoy the beach, the sun and the sea. You will spend the night on the island.

Day 15

Koh Lipe - Koh Khai island tour by speedboat

Today you will go on a small island tour. You visit the small island of Koh Khai and can relax here on the beach and watch the underwater world. For lunch we go back to Koh Lipe and you have time for yourself afterwards. You will spend the night on Koh Lipe.

Day 16

Koh Lipe - Satun - Hat Yai - Departure

After breakfast, you can relax by the pool or the beach until you are picked up. First we go back to Satun Pier and from there to Hat Yai Airport to fly to Bangkok. You will then start the rest of your journey home from Bangkok.
