Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Hanoi

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Known for its centuries old architecture and delectable cuisine, Hanoi is not only rich in history and culture, but also a buzzing city and a connecting hub to other parts of the country and region. Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai), you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the day at your leisure, followed by a welcome dinner at a nice local restaurant. After the dinner, you will then spend the first night in Hanoi.

Day 2

From the Red River Delta to the Remote Nam Cang Riverside Lodge

Today after breakfast, you will be heading to the mountainous Sapa. Upon your arrival, an approximately 2.5 hour hike will take you to Nam Cang Riverside Lodge. Along the way, you will come into contact with local people from various ethnic minority groups. In the evening, you are free to explore the village on your own or relax by the river. The day ends with a dinner in Nam Cang, where you also spend the night.

Day 3

From the Riverside to the Mountain Peak Ecolodge

When you wake up today, you will be able to look over the beautiful rice terraces while enjoying your breakfast. Then your trekking tour starts. You will visit several small villages with ethnic minorities and enjoy the beautiful view. After lunch, hike to Muong Bo River and continue to Topas Ecolodge. There you can enjoy the view from the balcony of your bungalow over the mountains. You spend the night in the Topas Ecolodge.

Day 4

Back to the Big City Life of Hanoi

All morning is free at the Topas Ecolodge. Take a bike and explore the area or catch a shuttle bus to explore the city of Sapa. At 2pm you will be taken back to Hanoi by private car. Spend the night in Hanoi.

Day 5

Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - World Heritage Site

After breakfast in Hanoi, travel to Ha Long Bay for a two-day cruise. Upon boarding, enjoy a fresh seafood lunch followed by excursions to visit caves, kayak, or join a cooking class on board. Later, have dinner during sunset. The night is spent on board.

Day 6

Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Danang - Hoi An

This morning you can start with Tai Chi during the sunrise. After breakfast, you can relax on the sundeck, do some kayaking, or jump into the emerald water for a swim. After lunch, you check out from your cruise cabin and return to Hanoi to catch your flight to Danang. Once there, you will be transferred to the old district of Hoi An. You are free to spend the evening in Hoi An or on Cua Dai beach. You will stay at a hotel in Hoi An.

Day 7

Hoi An Old Town

Today you can explore Hoi An on your own. Walk through the old town, explore the small shops, sip Vietnamese coffee in one of the many cafés. Admire the ancient buildings, discover the Japanese bridge, see the temples, visit the market, or stop by a tailor shop to get some made-to-order clothes. If you want to relax, white sandy beaches are just 3 miles (5 km) from town. There are also cooking classes where you can learn about the essence of the local cuisine. Spend the night in Hoi An.

Day 8

Hoi An - Danang - Nha Trang

After breakfast, we will take you to Danang airport to catch a short flight to Nha Trang. Upon your arrival, our driver will pick you up at Nha Trang airport and bring you to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the city or just relax. Spend the night in Nha Trang.

Day 9

Nha Trang Leisure

Today you will have the whole day for yourself. Explore the city, try mud bathing, enjoy some snorkeling, be thrilled with parasailing, or just simply relax on the beach, take in the ocean breeze while devouring some freshest seafood. Spend another night in Nha Trang.

Day 10

Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and have some relax time before your afternoon city tour. In the afternoon, visit the former President's Palace, the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and the French-style Central Post Office. Next stop is Chinatown, where you will find the huge Binh Tay Wholesale Market and the beautiful Thien Hau Pagoda. The night will be spent in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11

Explore the Mekong Delta

After breakfast, take a drive to visit the Mekong Delta. Once there, board a motorboat to get to the floating market. Then transfer to a rowboat to cruise through the small channels until you arrive at a large orchard, where you can taste many exotic tropical fruits of Vietnam. You will also get to sample coconut sweets, crispy rice cakes, and see unique pottery products made by the locals. Afterwards, you will bike through a village to visit some rural shops, or alternatively, you can just relax in a hammock. After the tour, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City to rest and spend the night there.

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Departure

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and free time before going to the airport.
