Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Bangkok

Welcome to Bangkok, the city of luminous temples and palaces. Upon your arrival, our local driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Relax and spend the the day at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner in a Thai restaurant before spending your first night in Bangkok.

Day 2

Bangkok City Temple Tour

Today you will visit the main attractions of Bangkok with your local guide. First stop is Wat Traimit Temple, also known as the Temple of Golden Buddha because of its 5.5 ton solid gold Buddha statue. Then you will go to Wat Pho, a Buddhist temple known for its giant reclining Buddha statue and considered the first public university of Thailand. Next, you take a ferry across the Chao Prayer River and visit the Temple of the Dawn - Wat Arun, one of the most iconic monument of Thailand with its dazzling Khmer style pagodas decorated with tiny pieces of colored glass and porcelain. In the afternoon, we continue on to the Grand Palace complex before returning to your hotel. You will spend the night in Bangkok.

Day 3

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

After breakfast, you go on a half-day tour to Thailand's most famous floating market, Damnoen Saduak. Once at the pier, a small boat take you through the canals packed with wooden boats and overflowing with fruits, vegetables, and food. Loud and colorful, this floating market is surely a fun and unique experience to have. After the tour, we will take you to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon and the rest of the day at your leisure. You are staying overnight in Bangkok.

Day 4

Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Lopburi - Sukhothai

Today you are leaving Bangkok and heading north. Your first stop is the historic city Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Being the capital of Thailand between the 14th and the 18th century and an once important center of global diplomacy and commerce, Ayutthaya is now an archaeological ruin of old time palaces, Buddhist temples and monasteries, which give an idea of the city’s past size and the splendor of its architecture. Next stop is Lopburi where you will have a quick visit at the ruin of former Budhist temple Prang Sam Yod, also known as the monkey temple because it's now occupied by a large congregation of wild monkeys who are not shy from interacting with visitors. After the short break, continue your trip and arrive at Sukhothai at the end of the day. You are stay overnight in Sukhothai.

Day 5

Sukhothai - Phitsanulok - Sukhothai

This morning you will take a short trip to the historic city Phitsanulok where you visit the Si Rattana Mahathat temple. Most famous for its golden Buddha, which is considered one of the most magnificent and sacred Buddha statue in the country, this 13th century temple also attracts visitors with its Khmer architecture and an onsite national fine art museum. After lunch at a local restaurant, you return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day to relax or explore Sukhothai at your leisure. You spend the night in Sukhothai.

Day 6

Sukhothai - Si Satchanalai Historical Park - Chiang Mai

Today you will explore Si Satchanalai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sukhothai. The park covers the ruins of the ancient royal city Si Satchanalai, which is dated back in the 13th century and was the crown prince's residence. After the tour, you will be on your way to Chiang Mai with a lunch stop on the way. After arrive in Chiang Mai, check in to your hotel and spend the night here.

Day 7

Full Day Elephant Safari - Khantoke Dinner

Today you will spend the whole day at an elephant camp and have a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with these majestic but so gentle mammals. After meeting with elephants, feeding them, and bathing them, you return to the camp in an ox cart and enjoy a Thai lunch there. In the afternoon, you will go bamboo rafting on the Mae Taeng River. Afterwards, head back to Chiang Mai with a visit to an orchid nursery on the way. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Khantoke dinner (a Lanna Thai tradition) accompanied by performances of Lanna dances and songs. You will then spend the night in Chiang Mai.

Day 8

Chiang Mai - Phuket

Today you will be transferred to the airport after breakfast to fly to Phuket in the south. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your beach resort. After checking in you can relax and enjoy the beach. You are staying overnight in Phuket.

Day 9

Day trip to Phi Phi Islands by speed boat

After breakfast, your excursion to Phi Phi Islands starts. The speed boat starts from the royal marina. You will visit Monkey Beach and snorkel in Tonsai Bay. You will then enjoy a fresh seafood lunch in a private beachfront restaurant. In the afternoon, you will explore the islands and limestone caves. Afterwards, you can relax on the white sandy beach before returning to Phuket where you spend the night.

Day 10

Day Trip to Phang Nga Bay

Today you will take a boat trip to the beautiful Phang Nga Bay. Your first stop is the Koh Panyee island, where you will have lunch in a Muslim fishing village. After lunch, you are off to James Bond Island where you can go swimming, enjoy the white sandy beach, and explore the island. Afterwards, return to Phuket. The evening is free and you can explore Phuket on your own and spend the night here.

Day 11

Free Day in Phuket

Enjoy a full day in Phuket at your leisure. You can explore Phuket on your own or relax on the beach. Do one of the many available water activities or visit the markets and enjoy the local food. You then spend the night in Phuket.

Phuket Departure

Enjoy your breakfast and free time before going to the airport for your flight home. Safe travel and see you next time!

This trip starts in Bangkok and goes north to Ayutthaya, Sukhothai and Chiang Mai. Then we head south to Phuket and return to Bangkok.
