Elephants, beaches, and a thousand smiles
Thailand is rich in culture, enchanted with thousands of temples, and inviting with exotic beaches. In the north, there are green thick jungles with ethical elephant sanctuaries and majestic mountains with hill tribe villages. In the central, countless temples, glittering palaces, and bustling floating markets are the highlights. And last but not least are the island paradises in the south.
Thai food is known far beyond the country’s borders. It is appreciated by many for its exotic spices and fresh ingredients. You should definitely try the papaya salad, countless curry and noodle dishes, and one of the coconut soups (Tom Kha). Thai like their food really spicy so whatever you choose, you might want to say “mai pet” which means “not spicy”, or “pet nit noy” meaning “a little bit spicy”. When in Thailand, do not forget to taste as much exotic fruits as you can; they are fresh, cheap, and widely available at every street corner.
With all Thailand has to offer, your most lasting impression, however, will be the friendliness of the locals. Everywhere you go, you will likely be greeted with a smile, which brings truth to the country’s nickname “land of thousand smiles”.
Let us help you plan your trip to Thailand. No matter if you want jungle trekking, island hopping, or to immerse yourself in Thai culture and visit its many temples, we are here to make sure you have the best possible trip. Are you ready for less planning and more traveling?

Good to know
In general, the best time to visit Thailand is from November to February when it’s cool and dry across the country. During this season, it can get quite cool in the north, especially at night in high altitudes where the temperatures can drop below freezing. The hot and dry summer season is from March to June, while the months of July to October mark the rainy season.
